Does VDub produce Simplified or Traditional Chinese?
The current Chinese workflow is designed for Simplified Chinese text and Mandarin voice synthesis.
Can I edit Chinese names and technical terms?
Yes. Review the translated segments and edit terminology before regenerating the affected speech.
How are several English speakers handled?
VDub detects speaker turns and creates Chinese dialogue for each speaker. Clear, non-overlapping speech produces the best separation.
Will the Chinese dialogue fit the original timing?
The workflow uses synthesis timing, silence trimming, bounded speed adjustment, and nearby free space without silently deleting accepted text.
Are Chinese subtitles included?
Translated subtitle artifacts are produced with the task, subject to the files available in the completed output.
