Can VDub preserve the original Chinese speaker’s voice in English?
VDub uses reference speech from each detected speaker to create the target-language voice. Results depend on source clarity, background noise, overlapping speech, and how much clean reference audio is available.
Does it work with more than one speaker?
Yes. The pipeline detects speaker turns and assigns translated segments to speakers. Clear, non-overlapping dialogue produces the most reliable separation.
Will the English dub stay synchronized with the video?
VDub uses the original speech windows, natural synthesis timing, silence trimming, bounded speed adjustment, and nearby free space to align dialogue without dropping accepted text.
Are subtitles included?
Translated subtitle artifacts are produced as part of the workflow. Available downloads depend on the completed task and its output files.
What are the free-trial limits?
The current trial supports files under 100 MB and videos up to five minutes. Limits may change as the service develops.
Do I need to install software?
No. VDub runs in the browser: upload the source, choose English as the target, and manage the task online.
